Bristol Bird Watch (October 2006)
Bristol Bird Watch is run by Avon Wildlife Trust in partnership with Bristol City Council, Bristol Naturalist's Society, Bristol Ornithological Club and Bristol Regional Environmental Records Centre.
Bird Watch was first launched in 2000 and encourages people to keep regular watch on their garden birds between October and April. Last year over 2000 people took part, many of whom have been completing the survey right from the start. This is continuing to build up an excellent picture of what is happening to bird populations both in and around the city and is an important part of our work for the Avon Biodiversity Action Plan.
More detail, including extra forms, last years results and identification tips can be found here.
