8 mile circular walk to Lady Bay
from John Weir’s Garden Centre,
9:30am. Meet: John Weir's Garden Centre Car
Park on Clevedon Road (ST 436 716). Moderate with some climbs (Grade
2*). See: Tickenham and Gordano Valleys and lots of different
wildlife habitats. Please wear appropriate clothes and footwear,
and bring packed lunch and sufficient drinks. Book with:

Butterflies, crickets and the wonderful wildlife of Walborough,
10am-1pm. There will be something for
children and for adults, with wildlife walks, close-up encounters
with some of the smaller inhabitants of this nature reserve and
the chance for kids to make and take home their own butterfly. Meet:
main entrance to the reserve, by the sluice gates on Uphill

A birding walk at Severnside,
catch the tide for a chance to see smashing waders at this internationally
important site, 9am. Meet:
Severn Beach. Take binoculars and a telescope if you have one. There
will be a telescope set up for those who don’t have their
